In life everyone has that one thing that they can run to for ... anything. That one thing that gives them what they want even when nobody is giving that to them.
Some people smoke, some people drink, some run, paint, cry, shop, whatever...
For me, that one thing is music. Even when the world dissapoints me, nobody has any words of comfort etc. All I have to do is sit in front of an empty notebook with a guitar on my lap and just go.
Music is one of the most emotionally satisfying things we have been given. There is a song or a piece of music for everything...love found/lost, being let down, cheated on, salutes to jobs or people, themes, and even big green tractors.
Everyone can associate the way they are feeling with several songs that express that in a better way that they themselves could...that is the essence of an artist.
I only hope that one day I will have that kind of impact on music fans everywhere...
So I challenge you...when you find yourself in a stupor and are looking for a way out...find a song for that...if you can't find one...let me know and I WILL get one for you...

Music is a portal to the soul. I think that there is a song for everything that one feels. I love to just sit and listen to lyrics and try to figure out what they were thinking or feeling when they wrote it. Music is soothing in so many different ways. I wish i had the ability to play, i think it would be very soothing and relaxing.
